Jennifer Ann Dahl

Dahl2Jennifer Ann was born February 25th 1973 to Robert and Martha Haines in Tacoma, WA. Her first five years of life were spent moving around the Puget Sound area, finally settling in Kingsgate (Kirkland) in 1978 where Jennifer met her lifelong friends. She met the love of her life, Jason Dahl in 1992. They married on September 22nd 2002, and made Monroe their home for the past 12 years.

Jennifer graduated from Juanita High School in 1991 and Shoreline Community College in 1993. She was employed at David Munson and Associates after spending many years with AT&T Wireless in Redmond, WA.

Jen lit up the lives of her family and devoted friends. You couldn’t forget her. She made everyone feel special with her kindness and welcoming smile. She never thought of herself as a funny person, but wherever she was, there was a chorus of laughter. Jen exemplified loyalty, compassion and kindness. You’d never hear an unkind word from her and lived a life that others should aspire to.

Jen was the best daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. Just ask her family and friends. And she adored assuming those roles, especially mother.   Jennifer’s proudest creation was her daughter Morgan (a spitting image of Jen) who was born on August 19th 2005.Dahl1

Jen, and her unborn child, died peacefully December 8th in her sleep. She was far too young to leave us. But her spirit will live on through her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jason; daughter, Morgan, parents Robert and Martha Haines and sister, Emily Haines.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Minard and Helen Haines, Dean and Genevieve Slader

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lake Washington Christian Church, 343 – 15th Ave. Kirkland, WA 98033, at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 13th.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Jennifer’s name to the American Heart Association.
