Arthur Michael Pagnotta, a devoted family man, successful financial advisor, and faithful servant of God, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 20, 2026 at the age of 87 years old.

In his early years, Art Pagnotta chased the worldly promises of big houses and material success, until a season of financial hardship changed his perspective entirely. Guided by Matthew 6:24, he learned that money should never be the primary focus of life, a truth that would reshape his legacy.

When the recession of the early 1990s hit, Art Pagnotta faced a crossroads. He accepted an early retirement package from Sears during a major corporate restructuring-a terrifying leap of faith at a time when his youngest daughter, Julie Pagnotta, was attending Washington State University. Yet, he held fast to the promise of Philippians 4:19: “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

True to His word, the Lord provided. Art Pagnotta embarked on a new path as a Financial Advisor, a career in which he thrived for the next 30 years. Because of his own life experiences, he brought deep empathy, wisdom, and true stewardship to his clients.

To his children, he was the ultimate earthly reflection of Deuteronomy 1:31:  “There you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place. “He was a father who carried his family through the wilderness with strength and love. The best thing he ever did was marry his beloved wife, Janet Pagnotta, and the best thing he did for his career was guide others with financial wisdom.

In a beautiful testament to their eternal bond, he passed away on what would have been his late wife’s birthday-reuniting with his bride on her special day. His departure was marked by a sacred, quiet timing. While in the hospital, he held on until her devoted caregiver, Olive, entered the room. Olive brought with her a profound sense of emotional and spiritual comfort, wrapping the room in peace and reassuring him that his family would be watched over.

Feeling that deep comfort and knowing his earthly work was done, he drew his last breath the moment she stepped inside, peacefully crossing over into the arms of his Savior.

He is survived by his two daughters, Julie Pagnotta and Jill Martinez and two grandchildren, Garrett and Gina Martinez, and a legacy of faith that will live on for generations.
