Gary Melvin Rembold Jr., 69, of Snohomish, Washington, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, on June 21st, 2026. He was born on November 8th, 1956, in Seattle, Washington.
For more than 50 years, Gary worked as a master diesel mechanic, traveling throughout the world to service major oil rigs. He was known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and unwavering dedication to his craft. Above all, Gary’s life was defined by the deep love he shared with his wife and life partner, Susan, and the devotion he had for his family.
Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; his children Josh (Jenny), Jason (Leslie), Jonni (Jon), Angie, Tina, and Piper (Tyler); his cherished grandchildren Layla, Lizzy, Ryker, Nick, Niah, Brooklyn, Sydney, Hailey, Chase, Austin, and Shadae; and his brothers Jon (Vicky) and Jeff (Wendy). He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy, and his nephew, Nick.
Gary leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and kindness that his family will carry forward. He found joy in collecting rocks, camping, rescuing elderly Pitbulls, exploring walking trails, spending time outdoors, working on cars, and building or repairing just about anything. Whether lending a helping hand, sharing his knowledge, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, Gary touched the lives of those around him and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
