Lottie M. Yadock

 

Lottie M. Yadock, longtime Renton WA resident and Gold Star Mother passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 101.  She was born on December 12, 1921 in Nanticoke Pennsylvania to parents Joseph and Stella Rosolowski.  She was married to Joseph Yadock in 1945 directly after the end of World War II.  During the war they became acquainted as pen-pals.  The couple had three children and moved to Renton Washington in 1969.

Lottie was an active member of St. Anthony’s parish in Renton and sang in the church choir for many years.  She was an avid gardener and loved to keep a beautiful home garden.

She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel, who was killed in the Viet Nam war and her husband Joseph.  She is survived by her daughter Patricia Yadock-Hayes and son-in-law David, son David Yadock and daughter-in-law Wendy, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

She will be interred in Holy Trinity cemetery in Nanticoke, PA.   The family would like to thank the loving caregivers of Visiting Angels and New Option Elderly Living group home who aided Lottie in her final months.
