Robert “Bob” William McGavin

On Wednesday, August 10, 2022, Robert “Bob” William McGavin of Woodinville, Washington passed away peacefully at the age of 77.

Bob is survived by his wife Virginia “Ginny” McGavin; children Paula Sutton of Seattle, WA; Monica Hultberg of Stamps, AR (son-in-law Scott Hulberg); and Laurie Olson of Bothell, WA (son-in-law John Olson); and grandchildren Joshua, Caleb and Timothy Hultberg and Elisabeth, Tobias and Parker Olson.

Bob was born May 18, 1945 in Canada to William McGavin and Hazel Pack.  He grew up in Seattle, WA and was close to his younger brother, Donald McGavin, who preceded him in death, and is survived by his youngest brother David Pack of Seattle, WA.

Bob graduated from Inglemoor High School in Seattle, served in the Army for a couple of years after high school, and then he and Ginny married (53 years).

Among Bob’s passions were summertime boating on Puget Sound in his Boston Whaler fishing for salmon and crab, enjoying the natural beauty and wildlife on his woodland property in Woodinville and caring for his beloved dogs, cats, fish and plants.
