Geoffery David Bork

To his family’s lament, Geoffery David Bork passed away in his Ballard, Washington apartment late in the evening on August 26th, 2022. He was born July 11th, 1975 in Washington D.C. to Jennifer Ann (Rogers) and David Burton Bork; who along with son Kevin, survive him. He was preceded in death by his sister Amy Jennifer Bork (1981-2001).

Geoff was an intense fan and avid consumer of information, especially of the music and sport-related sort. As private a person that he could be, he did enjoy good conversation and loved to command the room on topics of passion.

Geoff was cremated and will be placed alongside his sister in a family memorial bench that is currently being constructed and will eventually be placed in Beck’s Restlawn Memorial Park in Edmonds, WA.

There will be a memorial gathering outside somewhere TBD but more than likely spring/summer ‘23.

If anyone would like to participate and/or has any stories or thoughts of Geoff that for whatever reason does not feel like sharing publicly, I, Kevin Bork, ask you to please email them to me at krobnevik@gmail.com, if you would be so kind.

He is loved and cherished and will be greatly missed.

Sincerely,

David, Jenni, Kevin

I just heard we lost Geoff from our mutual friend Zach this weekend as Zach and I attended the wedding of his brother who were all UPS graduates and shared so many great times and memories with Geoff. I write this simple note with tears in my eyes. Geoff and I attended classes, parties, sporting events, family outings, concerts and many days and nights just hanging out and always laughing.. Any social event or time I saw Geoff I’d be greeted with a big smile and even bigger hug, some of which may have cracked a rib, but it was love and our tight bond that lasted no matter how much time had passed from when we’d last seen each other. I was shocked, saddened and grief struck to learn of his death, and can only imagine the pain he was going through. Other than wanting to tell Geoff I love him and I’m sorry I moved away and lost touch, I want everyone who reads this and knows me to reach out day or night just to chat. 253-225-8433. I too have been through these struggles. My heart goes out to his family. RIP Bork. I love you brother. Joel.
