Evelyn Jensen

Hannah Evelyn Jensen, aged 79, residing in Seattle (Ballard), Washington passed away peacefully on October 4, 2022.

Evelyn grew up in San Leandro, California where she was actively involved in sports and being a cheerleader. She studied elementary education and art at Seattle Pacific University and achieved her MA degree from City University. She started her first job as an elementary school teacher in Marysville, WA and continued teaching for another 35+ years in the Seattle school district.

Evelyn met her husband, Chris Jensen, at the “Never on Friday Club” at the Olympic Hotel in Seattle. They married in 1968 and went on to have a son. She lived a full life, enjoying travel, attending and watching sporting events, spending time with her husband on Orcas Island, and growing flowers and vegetables in her garden.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, son, and daughter-in-law.
