God decided that he needed Imre Nino Toth to come home and therefore he left us without warning on July 21, 2022, at the age of 60.

Known as Nino to everyone, he was born in Budapest Hungary. He received degrees in interior design and massage therapy. He saved money to come to the United States when he was a young man. He was the owner of Piccolo Finish Carpentry for many years. He then got his CDL and was hired by Seattle Public Utilities, a position he was very proud to hold, for the past four years.

He met his wife and the love of his life, Marion, in 1993, celebrating 28 years of marriage this year. Nino also leaves two wonderful daughters, Julia and Bridget, who were his pride and joy.

He was predeceased by his twin brother Thomas who passed when they were children. He also spoke fondly of his Grandma Julia who raised him on a small farm in Hungary.

Nino will be greatly missed by his family and the many lives he touched. As one friend said, “once you got past Nino being Nino,” you understood how much he cared for the people in his life.

Nino loved working with his hands and had a superb eye for design and symmetry. He enjoyed helping people and was “A Nino of all trades,” always offering his advice and expertise. Nino was a person who bubbled with life and had a vast knowledge of many things that he always wanted to share.

Nino was an avid recycler, always reusing and repurposing to make the world a better place for coming generations and, as he often said, for his future grandchildren.

The family held a small private gathering last weekend and ask that in lieu of donations please instead help someone that could use your assistance as Nino did so many times for so many friends and strangers.
