Daryle L. Zrust, 87, of Lynnwood, WA died peacefully on August 13, 2021, with his family by his side.

Daryle was born in Cosmos, MN to Fred and Violet Zrust. One of four children, Daryle grew up in Cosmos and graduated from Litchfield High School. He met the love of his life Darlene Jordin in Cosmos and they married in 1955 and had three daughters. As a young man, Daryle worked as a gandy dancer on the railroad for a time and in the construction industry for the rest of his career. In 1973 Daryle and Darlene moved their family to Lynnwood. Daryle had exacting standards and great skill and was expert at designing, selling, and constructing commercial buildings, homes and farm buildings.

Daryle and Darlene have been longtime members of Trinity Lutheran Church attending regularly. Daryle enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, caring for and maintaining their home, watching the Mariners and Seahawks with Darlene, salmon fishing in the sound and walleye fishing in Banks Lake.

In addition to Darlene, Daryle is survived by his daughters Deb, Dawn and Andrea, son-in-law Jess, grandchildren Chris and Melissa, Nick, Alana, Bay, Brooke, Beck and Bryn, great grandson Colin, siblings Janie and Betty as well as a loving extended family and many friends.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother Don, his mother and father-in-law, and sons-in-law Bruce and Del. We are grateful for the care Daryle received from EvergreenHealth Hospice Care, Home Instead of Lynnwood, and the staff at Quail Park of Lynnwood. A private family memorial is planned. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite cause.
