John Joesph McFadden, 96 years old, of Kirkland, Washington, passed away peacefully on September 20th, 2020 from pneumonia. He was born on May 21, 1924 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania to Father John McFadden and Anna Nettles. John and Pearl were married for 67 years.
John was preceded in death by Wife-Pearl Regina McFadden, Son-Micheal McFadden. Brother-Edward McFadden, Sister-Eleanor McFadden. He is survived by Daughters-Catherine McFadden, Sharon McFadden Carroll, Rebecca Anderson. Grandchildren-Christine Thompson, Karen Leckie, Colleen Campbell, Anthony Carroll. Great Grandchildren-Sarah Arrington, Brandon Thompson, Austin Thompson, Dustin Thompson, Emily Chase, Amber Leckie, Allie Campbell, Brendan Campbell, Ryan Campbell, Aidan Carroll, Gabriel Carroll, and Chloe Carroll. Great Great Grandchildren-Owen Arrington and Alissa Arrington.
John loved his family and friends near and far.

Papa, thank you for being my favorite grandpa! I have many fond memories of you from childhood to adult. Mostly Holiday get togethers, war stories, fishing at Greenlake and going to the horse races. I pray you find peace on the other side with Nanny, and are reunited with loved ones.
Uncle Johnny always greeted me with a big smile and hug. I’ve lived hours or states away through the years, but when I planned my travels back to the PNW, I always included a visit to see Uncle Johnny & Aunt Pearl. They both meant SO much to me. Knowing their deep faith, I know they are united in heaven.
My heart and prayers surround the family. May we all find comfort in the memories and his love share with all of us. His spirit now shines bright and new in heaven.

Today is the 3rd years anniversary of you leaving us on earth and joining Mom… not a day goes by that I don’t miss you both with all my heart ❤️ I was so blessed with you and mom as my parents , you gave me strength and I’m very grateful for all you both taught me . Please keep me safe and out of harms way as I know you both are my true guardian Angel ❤️
I look up to the heavens and sending hugs and kisses to the sky and the tears in my eyes are the love in my heart that belongs to the both of you .. I miss so much.
