Patricia Jewell Kelly went to be with the Lord on September 20, 2020.  She was born in Ringling, Oklahoma on August 2, 1937 to Reverend Clarence and Jewell Bigbie.  She was the youngest of four children and the only girl.

Patricia grew up in the state of Oklahoma.  She attended Northeastern Oklahoma State University where she met and married Frank Kelly in 1959.  One year later, their first daughter, Paula Kay, was born.

In 1962, Patricia and Frank moved to Washington State to begin their careers in education.  They lived in many places but spent several years in Centralia where their second daughter, Sue Anne, was born on April 26th, 1971.

Patricia accomplished many wonderful things as an educator.  She taught almost every grade Pre-K through high school in her twenty-five years, but her love was teaching the primary grades.  Patricia was a master teacher and mentor to others.  While her instructional talents were many, her greatest gift was her ability to create meaningful relationships with everyone she encountered, but especially with her students.

By far, Patricia’s greatest love and greatest passion was her family.  She loved nothing more than to be with her husband, her daughters and her five grandchildren no matter where they were or what they were doing.   The cherished memories she created as well as her legacy, her influence and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of her family and loved ones forever.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Paula Nelson (Karl) and grandchildren Taylor Cheff (Justin) Jaymeson and Jayce Nelson and by her daughter Sue Anne Olson (Scott) and grandchildren Mike and Max Olson as well as several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Kelly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 10th at 11:30 AM at the Mill Creek location of Gold Creek Community Church.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to:
