Jane Oliver

Jane Elizabeth Oliver (Morrison), age 74, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on
December 8, 2019.  Jane was born on March 15, 1945 in Iowa, and she touched the lives of many and was truly a blessing to all that knew her.

Jane was a Registered Nurse for over thirty years, working primarily in family medicine, as well as with elderly patients.  She was a very caring nurse with a soft-spoken manner.

Jane was very generous and always thinking of others.  She took the time to let you know she cared by doing thoughtful things, like sending a card or note just to show she was thinking of you.   Jane had a love of flowers, nature, beaches, sunsets, and music.  She loved traveling along the Washington/Oregon/California coast and her favorite places to visit included Cannon Beach, Carmel, Monterey, and San Diego.  Jane and her daughters spent many happy moments at the coast visiting Mildred and Houston (parents/grandparents), enjoying the sunsets and barbecuing salmon. Jane was an avid reader and movie watcher and enjoyed visiting the library.   Jane is survived by four brothers; her three daughters, Kimberly, Kelli, and Kathy; six grandsons, and one granddaughter; many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Her grandchildren called her a very special name, “Nan”, and loved her very much.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Jane held in San Diego, CA in the near future.

Such an incredible loss! Although I hadn’t seen Jane in quite a few years, she was like a second mother to me growing up. Kathy and I were either at her house or my house on the weekends! I have so many fond memories with the Oliver family! Rest In Peace Jane, you will be greatly missed!
