Yolanda Maria Volksen

Yolanda Maria Volksen passed on May 12th 2019, in Bellevue Washington, surrounded by her loved ones after suffering from dementia. She was 88 years old and is survived by her daughter Gigi, two Grandchildren Elayne and Randy, and 7 Great-Grandchildren. Yolanda was born on November 27th, 1930 in Lima Peru to Alejandro Ortiz and Maria Arieta. She was born into a large, loving family and traveled the world with her father and for schooling. She moved to San Francisco in her 30’s where she met her husband, Robert (Bob) Volksen, after living in the Bay Area until 1980 she relocated to Hawaii Kai, Oahu. Enjoying the island life throughout her retirement years, her energy, loving spirit and outgoing personality was experienced by many. She will be deeply missed, and will continue to live on in our memories.
