Albert L. Wilson

Albert L. Wilson (“Lefty”), of Coeur d’Alene, ID, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the age of 84.

Lefty was born to Thomas and Lenora Wilson in 1934 and was the youngest of three boys (Donald and Frank), all have predeceased him. He graduated from the University of Idaho, which is where he met and then married Ina M. (Decker) Wilson in 1956. After college Lefty served in the military (Army) and then had a long career with Boeing, retiring in 1995.  During retirement he enjoyed tending to his yard, reading, swimming at the neighborhood pool, and watching sports (particularly the Seahawks).

Lefty and Ina were married over 62 years and they had three daughters, Nancy Manes (Loren), Julie Hachtel (Charles) and Stacy Guinasso. Lefty also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Steven Rutherford, Daniel Rutherford (Nyket), Sarah Murphy (Ryan), Jennifer Rose (Chris), Michael Scott, Vinny Guinasso and Julietta Guinasso, and six great grandchildren with the seventh on the way.

The family is grateful for the comfort and support from friends and family. At Lefty’s request, there will not be a service.     Lefty was a very nice man. I was lucky to grow up next door to him and my family was lucky to have a great neighbor. (I always knew where my parent’s were on fall Sunday afternoons… at Ina & Lefty’s watching the Seahawks.).
