Linda Jean Reid (Stephens) 68

Of Seattle Washington

Born March 30, 1950

Went to meet her Lord on August 11, 2018 at Harborview Medical Center after a short illness.

Linda loved playing the piano at her church. Her favorite color was blue and she loved forget me not flowers. Linda, loved her Beanie Baby collection and would tuck them in at night.  Linda loved to bake cookies and give them as gifts.

You could always find Linda on her computer playing New Rock City and posting energy for all our groups. She had over 2,000 friends and was always ready to help.

Linda is survived by her brother Mike Stephens of Longview Washington. Proceeded in death by her daughter Tawny Reid and son David (Shane) Reid.

Linda will be missed by so many close Facebook friends. Linda, was not only our friend, she was our family.  She touched so many hearts. Linda, had so many friends that is why I am asking each one to write in her Memorial Book how Linda touched your life and your heart.

Linda we will hold your sweet smile and your warm heart in our hearts forever.

I will always remember the laughter and the tears we shared together. I want to thank you for being such a good friend. Our special last words to each other was “Sis I Love you.” So to you now I say Sis I love you and always will.

    SOME DAYS
They tell me life’s a journey
That will take me many years
Some days are filled with laughter
And some days are filled with tears

Some days i think my hart will break
    That i can’t persevere
Some days i have to don mask
    And hide neneath its veneer

Some days i turn and look for you
With thoughts i’d like to share
Some days i just can’t understand
    The reason you’re not here

Some days the sadness leaves me
    And my smile will reappear
Some days i close my eyes because
    Your memory is so clear

Some days i struggle to go on
    Just wishing you were near
Most days i spend in gratitude
    That you were ever here

Thank you my sweet Linda for all this days
I may have to know you , to love you , to talk and laugh with you
This are my memory a keep it always in my hart.
    God keep you safe

Linda was a dear friend playing New Rock City on Facebook. I never knew she was so ill because she never complained and she would ask how I was doing. Linda was so very helpful with the game and we could always talk freely with one another.
I could tell that she was a really good person outside of the gaming environment. I’ll miss our chatting and seeing her online. Rest in peace sweet Linda and one day we will chat again.

Linda was a true friend to many people. She will me missed by many.
We had planned on meeting each other , but the distance was too much. I’m in Florida and both our health issues stopped us from traveling. I will always Love this sweet Lady and miss her forever.
I’m sure you had a wonderful meeting with your Daughter and Son. Enjoy them once again.

    Forever your friend “Chip”

Linda, Though I was only getting to know you by you posting energy in NRC, I saw the love pour out for you when you went to be with your Lord and Savior. I wish we had more time to know each other, but given everything I learned about you, you are suffering no more and free of pain. I hope by now you are resting in peace. The ones you leave behind will cherish the memories and hold you close in their hearts. We mourn no more, we now celebrate your life. RIP Linda.

    Hey Linda,
Well, friend what can I say? I miss you so much. We user to chat and talk about our shared loss of our children.
I take solace in that you are now with the two children you so desperately missed. A family together once again.
I hope you loved the cards and presents I sent from across the pond.
You were a true friend and will be missed by many.
    Love you always.

I knew Linda in High School. She was in the class ahead of mine. I sat next to her in Music and was in the same Choral Group. Also we were in Rainbow Girls . She was the sweetest girl . I see from all the Posts on her Facebook page that she remained a sweet dear girl. Hope you have eternal peace with your family in Heaven.

Linda & I met in grade school. She was always known as Snookie in years gone by. We reunited several years ago. I asked her are you still Snookie or have you graduated to Linda, she said “I am still Snookie”. This seemed just right for me. We had many fun times together, I would pick her up and she would stay over for a few days. We had great fun visiting, thrift store shopping, & being by water. I know you are very happy being reuniting with your children. Please give all the classmates that have gone before a hug & a kiss for me. I miss you so much. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend. Hugs & Love Forever!!

    I MISS YOU
I cry when you passed away
    I still cry today.
    Although i loved you dearly,
    I couldnt make you stay.
    Your golden hart stopped beating,
    hard working hands at rest,
GOD broke my heart to prove me
    he only takes the best
May your days be bathed in sunshine,
your nights be lit with stars,
and may the ANGEL of happiess shine on you.
    wherever you are.
Rest in Peace my Dear Friend. Hugs & Love Forever!!
    LOVE YOU FOREVER .
