Kathleen Marquis
Kathleen Louise Marquis (Sirois) passed away February 23rd, 2018 in Seattle, Washington surrounded by her family and close friends. She was 71 years of age.
Kathy was born in Van Buren, Maine on October 20, 1946. She raised her three sons, Philip, Eric and Glenn in Montreal and later in Seattle, Washington. She always provided a loving home for her family and was an active neighborhood mom to many along the way. Her piano, her cooking and her smile always there to greet. She worked throughout her life supporting her family in various professional roles. Later in life she was caretaker for her father and brother, Donald. Always there to lend a hand to her family, friends and community.
She is preceded in death by her father, Henri Sirois, her mother Edna Cyr Sirois, and 
her brother Donald Sirois. Kathy leaves behind her sons, Philip, Eric and Glenn, her daughters-in-law, Pearl, Erin and Tiffany and her beloved grandchildren, Riley, Gage, Cooper, Tristan, Hali, Norah and Leah. She also leaves behind her brothers Jim and Ken Sirois and sister Lisa Laplante as well as many nephews and nieces.
Her sons wish to extend their gratitude to the dear friends and family who supported her and brought her joy through some of the more difficult years of her life. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date by her sons. Donations to the American or Canadian Cancer Societies would be greatly appreciated on her behalf.

My prayers are with the Sirois family as you mourn the loss of Kathleen (“Kat”). I pray she is now at rest in the presence of God. Coming from Van Buren, my parents and I knew your family very well over the years and I’m grateful for that.
