Susan Baker

Susan Frawley Baker died peacefully on Christmas Day, 2017 at the age of 81.   A Seattle native, she was an alumna of Seattle University and the University of Washington.  She worked for 20 years in the libraries of the UW until she retired in 2004 to Shelton, WA.  Accomplished musician and gifted with a beautiful singing voice, Susan was an artist, community activist, and free thinker.

Beloved mother to her three children David, Diana, and Philip Klatte and grandmother to six grandchildren: Zainab Al-Bahadli, Amina Al-Bahadli, Safiya Al-Bahadli, William Klatte, Samuel Klatte, and Joseph Klatte. Preceded in death by her parents, J. Swift Baker and Elizabeth Harnan Baker, and her sister Margaret Huntington Baker.
