George Howard

George Howard CE’56 ,of Issaquah, WA.  9/17/17. He was employed in sales with Bethlehem Steel for the majority of his professional career. He served his community on planning commissions, chamber of commerce, and served as president of the Long Beach Harbor Association while living in Southern California. At Penn, he was a member of Hexagon, track, cross country, and the American Society of Civil Engineering. His love and dedication for track and field led him to officiating for many years at the Penn Relays as well as announcing for the Enquirer indoor track meets.
