Landon Michael Edward Staley died July 26, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born June 1, 2001 in Kirkland, WA. The son of Cari Fletcher Staley and the late Jason A. Staley. He is now at peace in the loving arms of Jesus.

Landon attended Henry M. Jackson High School and enjoyed being on the Junior Varsity Football Team. He wanted to do all things ‘Outdoors’– especially snowboarding and hiking. Landon was very health conscience– He often went to The YMCA for weight lifting with his buddies.

Landon and his family are ‘Die-Hard’ Broncos fans, proudly showing orange & blue on football days. Landon enjoyed bird hunting with his PaPa, Dad and younger brother Colton. He always looked forward to fishing & camping trips with ‘The Staley Clan’. Prior to his father’s death in March 2016, Landon treasured Dirt Biking adventures with his dad, Colton & his God Father, Ken. Now Landon is together with his dad in Heaven.

Landon will be greatly missed by Best Friends–Blake, Matthew, Samire, Ryan and many more. He was well-loved!! His warm heart, great smile and sense of humor are irreplaceable. Landon could easily be described as a real ‘Goofball’ and ‘Prankster’! Landon had big goals as an Entrepreneur with his Buddy Blake and his brother Colton.

Landon is survived by his mother Cari Fletcher Staley, younger brother Colton, God Father Ken Finicle (Everett, WA), grandparents Gary & Carla Fletcher (Cle Elum, WA) and Ralph & Liz Staley (Post Falls, ID).

Landon was a young man that anyone would be proud to call son, brother, grandson and friend. His Memorial and Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Gold Creek Church (Mill Creek, WA) on August 28, 2017 at 6:30 pm. I saw the news video and felt such sadness and can relate to friends in my highschool that I lost from the same situation. All I can say is only Jesus can carry that weight of pain and give us His peace that sustains us all ( Matthew 11:28-30 New Testament
