ROBERT T. ANDERSON

February 2, 1931 – July 6, 2016

Robert AndersonRobert T. Anderson (85) of Renton, WA passed away at his home in the early morning hours of July 6th while surrounded by his loving family.  He was born the second of six children to Truman and Pearl Anderson of Portland, Oregon, where he grew up.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy, in which he served from December 1950 to October 1954.
On November 22, 1958 he married Louise Koenig.  Together they relocated to Robert AndersonSeattle, WA and soon after settled in the city of Renton, where they raised four children.  Robert was employed with the Boeing Company for 33 years before retiring in 1991.  During his career, the family temporarily lived in both Huntsville, AL and Fort Worth, TX.  Later returning to Renton where he spent the rest of his life.

Robert enjoyed both hunting and target shooting and won numerous trophies during his life for his achievements in the sport.  He also enjoyed computers, amateur radio, astronomy and his dogs.Robert Anderson

Robert leaves behind his much loved wife Louise:  his brother Mitchell:  his four children, David Anderson of Phoenix, AZ, Susan Warrilow with her husband Chris of Renton, Mark Anderson with his wife Toni of Sumner and Laura Lanz with her husband Mike of Bonney Lake:  his seven grandchildren Jennifer, Kathryn, Samuel, Dylan, Sarah, Luke and Aubrey: and his great-granddaughter Cameryn:  as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is greatly loved and missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on August 6, 2016 at 2pm at Living Hope Christian Fellowship, 16015 116th Avenue SE, Renton, WA.

    Dad’s memorial service is open to all friends and family. It will be held August 6, 2016 at 2pm at Living Hope Christian Fellowship, 16015 116th Avenue SE, Renton, WA.

    Internment at Tahoma National Cemetery will be on August 9.

    Louise I just located you on line and am so sorry about your husband’s death. Mercy,we do go through tough days and the Lord does pick up up and walks beside/in front of us. my phone # is.. 509-443-4582..I am living in Spokane WA now and so missing my friends in Vanc.WA If you see this..give me a call. I see Delora passed away too. If I had known I would have gone to her service. Blessings on you Louise.. alot of memories. (I have a daughter who lives on Camano Island and works with the free clinic there. I have 3 children and alot oa little ones. 🙂 love you..Yep, you sang at our wedding in 1953.. 🙂
