Pedro Antonio Alonzo Jr.

Pedro Antonio Alonzo Jr born 11/18/1967 passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 06/06/2016. Pedro was born to Pedro Alonzo Sr. and Rafaela Alonzo in the Dominican Republic where he spent the first years of his life. His parents immigrated to the United States and Pedro stated in the Dominican Republic where he was cared for and loved by his Grandparents. As a young boy Pedro moved to the New Jersey to live with his parents and his younger sister Claudia.

Pedro joined the army after graduating high school and after finishing his time in the service he put himself through nursing school at the University of Washington, while working odd jobs. He was never one to shy away from hard work and had a work ethic that exceeded that of most. Pedro graduated nursing school with his Bachelors in the Science of Nursing from the University of Washington where he continued to work on 6SE for over 14 years. Pedro spent his life caring for others and treating those around him with kindness, respect, loyalty, and love.

Pedro loved to laugh and make those around him enjoy a good moment of shared laughter. He loved music Classical, Jazz but honestly Bob Dylan touched his soul on the deepest level. He enjoyed cooking and sharing the meals he would prepare for his family. He was one of the most honest and kindest people you could ever meet.

Pedro met the woman, Jennika Littler whom he would eventually marry in 2015, after enjoying years together. Jennika and her family loved him dearly, as did his friends, and co workers. He was loved and admired by friends, co-workers and those who were lucky enough to know him. He was taken far too soon and will be missed dearly by many but by none more than his wife who was lucky enough to share her life with him.

There will be a remembrance on 06/28/16 at his place of employment for people to share memories, and enjoy celebrating the life of a truly wonderful man.

Pedro is survived by his Mother Rafeala Alonzo, sister Claudia Crawford, wife Jennika Littler, Mother in law Lena Littler, Sister in Law Emily Littler, Brother in Law Casey Shoemaker and numerous nieces and nephews. We miss him terribly.
