She was a very positive person, her favorite saying was “Happiness is an inside job.” Before she retired at the age of 62 she worked as a seamstress and later as an accountant for a contracting business. She was a long time member of the Swedish Club in Seattle and recently donated several artifacts to the club. Additionally she volunteered at the Greenwood Senior Center helping in the kitchen preparing and serving food. When dances were held at the center she especially liked the polka and swing dances. She enjoyed this activity well into her middle eighties. She relished her independence, living on her own, reading the Bible and doing things for others. Many friends and family will miss her warm welcoming smile and kind words.

She is survived by her son Steve Anderson his wife Kris and two grand children Emily and Natalie all living in the Kirkland, Bellevue area. Also by her sister Bertha Morey, many nieces, nephews and their children residing in Oregon and Washington.

We will miss our beautiful Aunt Evelyn! Such an inspiration for us all! She loved to laugh, she loved to sew her fancy clothes and always looked so pretty!! It was always fun to hear her talk about her favorite team -the Seattle Mariners -what a fan she was ! And how she loved to dance ! We prayed she would reach her 100th birthday but God had another idea! She is dancing with her family in heaven! She will always be in our hearts! Sharon And Larry
