Bree Lynn Sharrah

Bree Lynn Sharrah Bree Lynn Sharrah sadly passed away on February 17, 2016 with her loved ones by her side. Bree fought a courageous battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She left us at the young age of 35 years old.

Bree was born in Auburn, Washington and was welcomed by her loving parents Gary and Gail Nordeen. From the beginning, Bree was a kind and easygoing soul. She was excited to share her love four years later when her only sibling, Lindsey, was born. Bree always took care of and looked out for her younger sister. Bree would continue looking out for friends she met during the rest of her life.

Bree grew up on the Deschutes River in rural Thurston County. She went to school in Rainier, Washington where she made many lifelong friendships. She enjoyed reading, playing volleyball and spending time with her friends and family. Bree graduated in 1998 as salutatorian of her class with a 3.99 GPA.

Bree continued her education at Washington State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Risk Management. She went on to be a very successful business woman in the insurance industry.

While attending WSU, Bree met the love of her life, David Sharrah. He was the man who would eventually become her husband and lifelong soul mate. David did not leave Bree’s side during her terrible times. Nor any times. He is an admirable man. They married in Centralia, Washington with a giant celebration surrounded by their loved ones.

Bree and David purchased a home in Bothell, Washington and soon started their Bree and the Childrenown family. Katie was born on November 14, 2007 and Jacob (Jake) joined their family on July 27, 2011. These two kids could not have been blessed with a more incredible and proud mom.

Bree’s life was filled with joy, love and laughter which she returned to all of us. She was the most selfless, positive person whose smile would light up any room. Throughout her fight she never complained and always worried about everyone else. That’s the way she was. This world will be a substantially lesser place without her here.

Bree is survived by her husband, David Sharrah; children, Katie and Jacob; parents, Gary and Gail Nordeen; sister, Lindsey Nordeen-Walter; niece and nephew, Piper and Grayson; Grandmother, Carolyn Nordeen; Aunt, Lisa Mallory; and cousins, Alisha Sperling, Craig Schweikl, Lacey Pedersen and Shelby Huston.
