Simonne De Vos ObituarySimonne Paula Anno De Vos of Shoreline, Washington, passed away peacefully from natural causes, early Sunday morning, November 1, 2015 in her home. Simonne was born in Belgium where she met and married her husband, Edward in 1952. Simonne and her husband, along with their two eldest daughters, Arlette and Hedwig, moved from Belgium to Canada in 1956, then moved to the Seattle area in 1969. She has been a resident of Shoreline for the past forty-six years.

 
Simonne is survived by her oldest sister Georgette Anno of Belgium, their six children, Arlette Lambrecht (Daniel), Hedwig Jones (Robert), Roger De Vos, Joanne Phippen (Michael), Marian Ocheltree (Alan) and Eddie De Vos (Sherleen), ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Maria Hortencia Van Simaeys , her father, Jules Florent Anno, her sister, Mariette Anno, her husband, Edward De Vos, and her grandson Brandon De Vos.

 
A celebration of Simonne’s life will be held at the home of her youngest son, Eddie, on November 21, 2015, at 1:00 pm.
