My friend Carey, a beautiful, smart woman, I worked with her, spent time with her during her illness. She was brave and strong during this time. Still caring about the feelings of others, even though she was in a lot of pain. She loved her dog Mackey. I will miss you “Scooter”.

    Cary and family,

I am sorry for the loss of Carey. She was beautiful from the inside out. I will always remember her laugh and the twinkle in her eyes! I hadn’t seen her in many years, but I would know those eyes and her smile anywhere. I am so sad that she lost her battle with cancer, but grateful that she is no longer in pain.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May you find comfort in the knowledge that Carey is now spreading her Angel Wings and shining her light down on you all.

Carey and all Carey-Ann’s family and friends, I am so sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. A fabulous lady with her brash quick wit and lovely laughing eyes, Carey-Ann reminded us what it means to live life to the fullest, be strong, and give the ones we love all of our heart. I’m so thankful I was lucky enough to have met her and call her friend. I’m sure she would be calling me some brazen name for calling out her good qualities, and that makes me smile. While a light on earth left with Carey-Ann, somewhere a star burns brighter in the Cabo sky. She did naturally what other people try so hard to do: She left her mark on this world.
