Robert McGihon
Robert “Bob” McGihon passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 18th.
He was born 11-25-1927 in Buffalo, NY and was raised at St. Mary’s Orphan Home in Rochester, NY. After working on Great Lakes ore boats, he served in the Merchant Marines. He was in The United States Air Force from 1945 until 1953. He married Eleanor “Ellie” Froemming in 1953, attended the University of Montana from 1953 to 1957 and was the Football Team’s Co-Captain in 1956 & 1957. He had a successful 28 year career with Exxon in a variety of positions, retiring in 1986. He is survived by his wife and two children Charley and Cathi.
He requested not to have a memorial service

Dear Cathi, I was actually searching for you on the Internet and saw that your dad had died. I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a strong and successful man. I hope you, your mom and brother can find peace in that.
