Dean Allen Tucker

Tucker1Dean Allen Tucker, 50, of Maple Valley, Washington passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Sherry Adamson, two step-children (Michelle Wiseman and Michael Wiseman), his father (Carl Tucker), his sister (Lauren Thompson) and nephew (Christopher Thompson), mother-in-law (Roberta), two brother-in-laws (Ronald & David), 3 stepsisters (Jan – 1 child, Connie – 1 child, Casey – 3 children) and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Iva Krause (Michael).

He was a loving husband, son, stepfather, brother & friend to all that knew him. He will truly & deeply missed.

Dean was born in Seattle, Washington in 1964, the son of Carl Allen Tucker (Lakebay, WA) and Iva Ann Krause (Michael). He grew up in Kent, Washington and graduated from Kent-Meridian High School.

Shortly after graduation he joined the US Navy (Petty Officer 3rd class), where he served from 1982 to 1989. Dean travelled all over the world while in the Tucker2Navy. By the time he turned 21 he had been to all seven continents.

After he was honorably discharged from the military, he went to school at Green River Community College where he received an Associate Degree in Pre-Engineering.

When Dean wasn’t working he enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his wife & two step-children. He loved to play WOW (World of Warcraft), watch sports (especially the Seahawks, Sonics & Mariners) and just relaxing around the house.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 11th at Tahoma National Cemetery at 1:30pm. A celebration of life will immediately follow the service at Cherokee Bay Community Clubhouse in Maple Valley, WA. The address is: 21700 SE 265th Way; Maple Valley, WA 98038.
