Teresa Cantrell

Teresa was born April 11, 1953 in Toronto, Ontario and grew up in Sacramento, CA where she met and married her husband Gary Cantrell. They had 3 children: Kirsten Cantrell of Sacramento, CA; Travis Cantrell of North Bend, WA; and Jonathan Cantrell and his wife Abbey of Snoqualmie, WA. After retirement, Teresa and Gary relocated from Sacramento to Washington to be near their young grandsons, Carter and Eli Cantrell of Snoqualmie – the joys of her life. Teresa was preceded in death by her loving parents Michael and Duane Avery and is survived by her two brothers and five sisters. She was loved and will be deeply missed by her family.

Teresa died peacefully at home with her family on December 7, eight months after being diagnosed with cancer. We would like to thank the caring nurses and doctors at Swedish Cancer Institute oncology.

The service will be held at Barton Family Funeral Service, 11630 Slater Ave NE, Suite 1A, Kirkland WA 98034 at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, December 11

In lieu of flowers,  the family requests that donations be made to the  Washington State Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
