Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on October 28, 2013. Genny was born on November 13, 1923 in Roslyn, South Dakota, to Hilda and Anton Hagen, the youngest of nine children. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Reynolds and son Dan Mickelson, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Marlin Mickelson, daughter Pamela Ratcliffe, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Genny worked at Boeing, United Control and then retired from Sundstrand Corp. in 1986. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church for 59 years where she volunteered in the quilter’s group and worked on the church bulletin.

A memorial service will be held on November 13 at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 9625 NE 8th St., Bellevue, WA 98004.
