William Arthur Lee

William Arthur Lee “Bill” has left us too soon on 09/11/12.  Bill was born in Burbank, California on June 26, 1970 to Larry and Natalie “Corky” Lee.  He had an active life, working on fishing boats and crab boats in Alaska in his early 20’s.  After a back injury, he became a machinest, working at The Gear Works in Seattle for 10 years.  He was a member of the Dead Baby Bike Club and was an avid cyclist and bicycle builder, including building an awesome tall bike out of three bicycles.  He loved to surf and bought a home in Aberdeen to be closer to the ocean in order to surf on weekends.

Bill is survived by his parents, Larry of Topeka, Kansas; Natalie “Corky” of Duvall, Washington; brother Matthew of Rapid City, South Dakota; daughter Samantha Brown of Snoqualmie, Washington; uncle William Sloniker (Laura) of Mexico; great-uncles Robert Kristopeit (RoseMarie) of Prescott, Arizona; Richard Kristopeit (Alma) of Racine, Wisconsin; and many cousins, friends, and co-workers.

Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Wanda Sloniker and Arthur and Grace Zenobia Lee.

Bill was loved and respected by his family and his many friends and co-workers for his impact on their lives.  There are no words to describe the heartbreak we feel.  We love and miss you, Bill.

Our family first met Bill Lee about a year 1/2 ago…when my sister brought him over to meet us. Since then he has visited a few times..playing horseshoe, meat packing(we have pigs)to simply just hanging out. He ALWAYS had a smile, and made us smile as well. We have ALWAYS enjoyed his company and are very saddened about his passing. I speak for my husband and 2 children when I say we feel very privilidged to have met Bill! He has a place at our home always, he is missed.

I’ll always regret not seeing you at the last race. I always looked forward to seeing you there and the next time we would met. You always made me laugh even if you were giving me a hard time. There is so much I wish we could still share with you. You are beautiful- truly beautiful.
