Gary Stanford
Gary Stanford, 63, of Black Diamond died after complications from a heart attack on August 2, 2012.
Gary was born on February 20, 1949 to June and John Stanford in Seattle, WA. He grew up in Edmonds, WA and graduated from Meadowdale High School. Gary then went on to serve in the Air Force for four years before graduating from Edmonds Community College with a major in Electronic Technology. He enjoyed a long career as a very skilled electrician and craftsman. In his semi-retirement he had a love for the outdoors and driving around in his smart car.
Gary was the cherished husband to his late wife Susan of 27 years. He is survived by his daughters Megan and Molly, granddaughter Reiley, and grandsons Carter and Collin. Gary is also survived by his brothers Jack and Michael.
He was a very generous, thoughtful and caring man. He will be missed greatly by everyone who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Heart Association. Arrangements made by Barton Funeral Home and internment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 5041 35th Ave NE Seattle, WA on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 1:00pm.
