Enid Fabiola Saenz Cruz,

Enid Fabiola Saenz Cruz, 91 passed on October 19, 2011.  She was born on July 4^th 1920 in Latacunga, Ecuador S.A.

She married the love of her life Carlos Eduardo Saenz on April 21, 1940 in Quito, Ecuador.  They moved their young family to the United States in 1953.  She graduated with an AA from Seattle Community College with a degree in Dress Design and Fabrication.  She worked in the Drama Department at the University of Washington in Costume Design and Fabrication.  Enid also owned and operated a custom bridal and formal wear shop “The Blue Jay” in Bellevue WA.

She lived life to the fullest and always seeing the humor in life.  Enjoyed camping and hiking in places like West Port, Ocean Shores,  Oregon Coast, California Coast, Vancouver BC, Victoria BC and the Campbell River in Canada.  Her travels included Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico and Canada.  Dancing was a passion of her life, she would go every week to either the Kirkland or North Shore Senior Center to dance and socialize with friends.  Gardening, painting, sculpturing, writing and knitting were some her other hobbies.

Enid’s family surrounded her with love – daughter Jacque C. Saenz and her children; daughter Jackie C. and husband Ed Muller and their 2 children Anisa and Eddie.  Sons Stuart E. Friedel and Steven M. Krumm.  – Son Fernando L. and wife Sandy Saenz and their children; son Jeff L. Saenz and his two children Tony and Erica Gee.  Daughter Michelle E. Thomas and her two children Alyshia and Kayli.  – Daughter Ximenita S. and husband Jay Miller and their son Dakota C.

Enid is survived by her brother Arturo and his wife Vivian Cruz and family, Elba Bosano (sister) and family, Chella Cousey (sister) and family and Hilda Alvear (sister) and family.

A memorial service will be held Monday October 31^st at 11:00 am at Holy Family Church, 7045 120^th Ave NE, Kirkland WA 98033.  Reception will follow at the church.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
