Gladys Katherine Trim

In loving Memory of Gladys Katherine Trim, who was born on October 21, 1916 and passed away peacefully  surrounded by family on October 10, 2011.

Gladys was a resident of Carnation & Duvall, Washington where she raised her family and worked as a cook at both Lucy’s and the Duvall Truck Stop.

She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping cooking, collecting and working with rocks, watching birds and tending to her flowers.  Tuesdays, she helped work on the monthly paper, and attended  dinners, bazaars and plant sales.  One of her favorite things to do was to ride the bus to casinos with the seniors.

Gladys is survived by her sons, Ernie (Bonnie) Trim and Ron (Dee Trim; daughter, Marilyn (Mike) Marty; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers Ernest DeBoer and Donald DeBoer; and sister, Betty Miller.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Harold Trim; step-daughter, Barbara Morton; brothers, Ed Deboer, Lawrence DeBoer, Garrett DeBoer, Les De Boer, and sister Hattie “Dot” DeBoer.

Graveside service will be held at Novelty Hill Cemetery in Duvall Washington on October 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with a reception following at Valley Foursquare Church (formerly Cherry Gardens Community Club) 16533 Kelly Road NE, Duvall WA

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Duvall Firefighters Association.
