Nick Pozarich


Nick was born in Ronald, WA and grew up in Yakima, WA, son of Nicholas and Mary (Mance) Pozarich. He lived in the SeaTac area for 53 years. Nick served twenty years in the Army/Air Corp and Air Force. He was a WWII veteran and POW, captured at Corregidor and imprisoned for 3 1/2 years in Mukden, Manchuria China. Nick was a Bronze star recipient.
He worked for Boeing for 7 years and enjoyed tennis, electronics, Ham Radio and yard work.
Nick was preceded in death by brothers Anton, Alex, and Philip.
He is survived by brother Edward Pozarich (Yakima) and 8 nieces and nephews.
Services at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA at 2:15 on July 29, 2011.
