Sandra Maria Del Barco

Sandra Maria Del Barco was granted her angel wings on May 27 2011. She was 52 years old. Her final days were spent at home surrounded by family.

She was born Jan 4, 1959, in Liberia Guanacaste, Costa Rica, the daughter of Rafaelita R. Del Barco and the late Jose Alberto Del Barco Moiso.  She was 3rd of 5 siblings.

She worked at Cadman where she met Ken fell in love and got married.  From there she went to Group Health and then to Sherwood Forest Elementary School where she was an assistant secretary. No matter where she worked, she always made lots of friends and loved them all.

She loved to laugh and dance.  She love going to Costa Rica taking walks on the beach, sitting in the sun, drinking chardonnay, spending time with family and friends, playing with her children and granddaughters. Everywhere she went she always made a new friend and would invite them to her home. She had a big heart.

First, my heart goes out to the family.
I had the honor of meeting Sandra while we both worked at Group Health. Sandra worked in payroll and I work next door in AP but we, plus a couple other friends always had lunch together, it was the best part of the day. Sandra could always make me laugh. I was sad to see her leave Group Health and now my heart hurts so much from her passing. She will always be a beautify and classy lady.
    Love you Sandra.
