Michael Christopher Shea

Born March 21, 1950, died Good Friday April 22, 2011. Attended School of the Madeleine & St. Mary’s College High School (1964­­-1968), Berkeley; St. Mary’s College (1968-1972), Moraga. Navy ROTC @ CAL 1969-1972. Worked energetically for Berkeley Pump Co., John Crane Co., and Chemithon (Seattle), international sales (Europe, Malaysia, China, Japan, Korea, South America). Avid auto, train, and plane fan. Loving husband of Evelyn Wright & stepfather to Angela Backman; father of Kieran Shea (Los Angeles). Son of John P. Shea & Emilie M. Shea, Albany (both deceased). Devoted brother to Stephen (Hartford), Lawrence (Los Angeles), and Jeffrey (Albany), brother in law to Joy Shea, Leticia Shea and Gail Shea. Favorite uncle to Lauren Shea Collier & Zachary Collier (Sparta NJ), Deanna, Sabrina & Ryan Shea & grandniece Jocelyn (Los Angeles), John, Kevin & Brian Shea (Albany). Faithful cousin to Kristine Ruck and William Ruck, & devoted nephew to Barbara Ruck (San Francisco), William Ruck Sr. (deceased), Father Thomas Shea (Cupertino), and Father Michael Ruck (deceased). Loyal friend of many, who dearly miss him.
