Laurie Virginia Gee, 53, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2011 in Seattle, WA after a long illness. Laurie was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Edgar and Virginia (Pilcher) Gee. She is survived by her siblings Lance (Emma) Gee of Marysville, CA, Marcus Gee of San Diego, CA and Denise (Robert) Damm Yuba City, CA; seven nieces; 15 great nieces and nephews; and companion Jerry Hays of Spokane, WA.
While working as a loan counselor at Sterling Savings Bank she was working towards a degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology. She was a skilled crafter and enjoyed quilting, scrapbooking, writing, hiking, photography and traveling.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Jan 29 at Sierra View Cemetery, Marysville, CA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the University of Washington Medical Center through UW Gift Processing, 4333 Brooklyn Ave NE Box 359505, Seattle, WA .

Laurie will live in my heart for the remainder of my days. She was a special soul, and my consolation is that I have an angel now that goes everywhere with me. A huge loss personally, but a huge gain for Laurie – she suffers no more, and she’s been reunited with our mother and father forever. RIP little sister.
I went to junior high with Laurie. Carrillo! I have thought of her often and wondered where she was. How heartbreaking to find out she is gone
