Gary Lee Anderson, 60, of Marysville, WA, passed away on 12-7-2010 from heart failure.  Born November 24, 1950 to Kenneth Anderson & Dorothy De Walt who preceded him.  Gary is survived by his wife Joy of 30 years, son Jesse Anderson, son Abraham Anderson, brother Michael (Eva) Anderson, and brother Kenneth (Andriena) Anderson.

Gary grew up on a small farm in Alderwood Manor, WA.  He was very athletic, good at wrestling, track, and pole vaulting in high school and graduated from Meadow Dale High School.  After some college he was employed as an electrician.  Gary worked in his father’s metal fabrication shop while growing up and later as a foreman at Anderson Metal Fabrication in Lynnwood, WA with his father and brother Ken (Butch).  Gary continued working as an electrician for several years, and then worked at the City of Everett Parks & Recreation as a maintenance mechanic for 22 years.  Gary was especially proud of all the projects he accomplished for the Everett Parks and was skillful as a residential and commercial electrician.

Gary has lived in Snohomish County most of his life.  In his younger years he could be found snow and water skiing, steelhead fishing, boating, hiking, and driving his Camaro and Malibu when he wasn’t working.  Gary loved nature, the mountains, spent hours exploring in the woods, and looking at properties.  He raised chickens, pigs, steers, goats, and had several horses and dogs over the years.  Gary had a wide range of talents and often would help others when time allowed.  He loved to hunt deer and elk with his friends and two sons.  He liked to watch and take pictures of them even more.  Gary often enjoyed working on all kinds of projects with his sons, Jesse and Abraham.

Gary loved to laugh and tell stories of his adventures with his family and friends.  He had numerous talents and achieved much.  Gary was a very loving husband and father.  He will be missed and loved forever by many.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  A private family service will be held at a later date.
