Joanne Falsetto

Joanne Falsetto a long-time resident of the Kirkland area passed peacefully on Thursday 16th of September at Overlake Hospital Medical Center. Joanne was born to Sam and Josephine Verginia, December 17, 1931 in Syracuse NY.
Joanne is survived by her husband, Thomas Falsetto, Son’s John, Stephen and David Falsetto, daughters, Sharon Hummer, and Marybeth Falsetto, thirteen grand children, seven great grandchildren and three sisters, Rita Ryals, Olga Spencer and Annamarie McKnight. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughters, Rita Whalen and Diane Hoffman, and brother Frank Verginia.
Joanne was a loving, caring and thoughtful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; she treasured the countless times when her children and grandchildren would come over to spend time to visit. Joanne enjoyed Italian cooking and prepared some of the best pizza pie and manicotti in the Pacific Northwest. Everyone loved to gather at the Falsetto’s to enjoy Joanne’s fantastic banquets. Joanne also loved to care for her dog Barney and travel in her motor home to LaConner.
Joanne was a devoted Catholic who enjoyed serving her church, St. John Vianney Parish, in Kirkland, Washington. She dedicated her life to our Lord through daily Mass, prayers thru the Rosary, and acts of kindness to those in need. In Joanne’s final hours, she received special graces from our Lord, a vision of family members praying the Rosary at her funeral and experienced deceased family members who came to take her hand and lead her home to our Lord.
Joanne’s loving heart will be missed by all and her memory will live on forever in our hearts to affect how we live out our lives.
