Hi Dad. I’m thinking of you a lot lately. There are so many things I need your opinion on, but if I’m honest with myself, I am some version of you, and I already know what you’d say. It’s strange to me how some days are a breeze to get through, and other days you are lingering, reminding me that nothing lasts.

I’d give anything to hear your voice today. Sometimes a girl just needs her dad. I hope I’m still making you proud.

    I love you always, dad.

Hi, so many things that need your attention around here, mainly me. I don’t know if things are getting easier or harder as the time goes on, some days easy some hard. Alls I know is this big empty place where you used to be. I miss you so much! What would have been our 32nd wedding anniversary is coming up soon. I wish we could celebrate it together. Please be here. Love you so, Nancy

it’s Christmastime again. I put up the little tree you liked when you were here last, and decorated as usual. Sometimes I feel like life is just going by and I am just standing here waiting for you. I know what you’re saying right now and yes, I will stop it and get on with things. I just miss you. Merry Christmas My Love.

Hi Dad. The other day, I saw a man outside a window that sauntered with your same gait, and for a split second, I hoped you were walking into the building to see me. For the following few hours, songs played everywhere that reminded me of you, and it felt like we’d spent the day together. Please come visit again whenever you’d like. I love you so, and I miss you every day.

it’s so hard to keep not seeing you waiting for me at home after work each day. Rolling over in bed each morning and not seeing you smiling at me or hearing your snoring. Not being able to reach out and wrap my arms around you and hug you till I can’t breathe… the reasons I miss you never seem to end but my love for you is as strong as it ever was. Thinking about you as always. All my love.
