Luis (Lu) Rivera
Luis (Lu) Rivera was born Decem,ber 22, 1938 and passed away peacefully on December 16, 2008 of Alzheimer’s. He married Patricia (Pat) Morris in 1961 and had two children Mark and Matthew. Lu’s passion was for graphic design, which led him to a career as Art Director at the Pacific Science Center and Point Defiance Zoo. He then took his talent to Boeing where he retired in 1995. Lu was an avid marathon runner and enjoyed working with his hands. He is survived by his wife Patricia; and sons Mark and Matthew, his wife Elizabeth and their sons, Tyler and Ryan. At Luis’s request, there will be no memorial service. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
