I wish to extend my sympathy to the entire family of Shirley. Although I only met her a few years ago at Trinity Lutheran and did not know her very well, what I did know of her I liked very much. She was such an upbeat person and always greeted you with a big smile. I know she must have been a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and a great friend to all. I am truly sorry and sad for all of you. I will remember you in prayer.

Aloha McGladrey clan. Gary and are I are so sorry to learn that Shirley has “moved up”. We have so many fond memories of being your next door neighbors while raising Blake and Kari. Shirey was one of those Mom’s who didn’t worry about the small stuff. We fondley remember when we left town, one summer, leaving your family in charge of Freeda and our duck, “Big Shot”. Shirey helped dig a huge hole in your back yard….she then let the boys fill the hole with water, just so our silly duck could have a place to swim. She was so easy going, gentle, yet wise and the best Mom in the world.
It was a pleasure watching Patty, Steven and Rob grow up. From the neighborhood parades, to the Christmas parties, you all shared a very special chapter in our lives. We know Shirley was very proud of all of you.
We will hold on to all the memories we shared and hope you know that you are in our hearts and prayers.
She was the best….
Our love to you all…
Mickie and Gary
