Claire Stille Ely; born 8/8/1936 in Pittsburgh, PA passed away July 26, 2008. Beloved Mother of Thomas Meyer, Charles Meyer and wife Joy, William Meyer and wife Fran, Carol Johnson and husband Brian, and Mary Saelee. Grandmother of nine wonderful children. Also survived by her brother Richard Stille. Predeceased by her husband Lauren Ely who was her best friend.
She was a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1989, and a student of The Course of Miracles, she would like to thank all of her teachers in this life.
Memorial Service will be held at River Mobile Estates in Auburn, WA on Saturday, September 6 at 3pm. Claire was loved very much and will be missed greatly. She would like any memorials to be sent to the American Liver Foundation for the Cure of PBC.

claire was very special to me , her sense of humor brought joy to everyone she found humor in just about everything. she was kind and emotionally strong i will always remember her and miss her. arleen phillips.
