Georgeann Petersen, July 25 2008

Jan Petersen was born in Libertyville on August 1^st 1931. She lived life with her many loving family and friends. On July 25, 2008 at age 76, Jan has taken her rightful place besides the Lord.

Georgeann, the oldest daughter of George and Blanche Anthony grew up in Chicago Illinois and later moved to Deerfield where she attended school to become a bookkeeper. She was an active member of the church youth group where she met her future husband Howard. Jan and Howard married and raised a family of three. The c

Jan had an early career in bookkeeping, and later she and her husband owned and operated Colville Meat Processors, in Colville Washington. Later the two moved to Seattle Washington where the couple met many new loving friends, and enjoyed their new home.

Jan’s source of happiness and joy included her sisters and brother in-laws, her children, grandchildren, and her many, many loving friends from her church community. She enjoyed her active involvement with the church, and maintained her good health through her weekly aqua aerobic classes.

Jan, a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend of many, has created lasting memories for us all.
