Having difficulty submitting a comment?

Please be aware that comments do not immediately appear on the site. It may take several hours or more before they are reviewed. See below***

When submitting a comment to an obituary, we ask you to pass a security test before the comment is submitted for our review.  This security device is called a CAPTCHA and you may read more about it HERE

The CAPTCHA test starts like this:

Check the box next to “I’m not a robot”  Then a screen like this appears:


















Follow the instructions to click on the pictures requested. In this case click on “all bodies of water such as oceans or lakes.”

If you are not sure what the pictures are displaying, click on the small icon at the bottom that looks like an arrow going in a clockwise circle.

Then another set of pictures appears that may be more easily recognized. In this example, it is pictures that show “grass.”


















You may repeat as many times as you wish until you see  images that you can recognize.

Just click all that show the required item in any order and then click on “Verify”

When you successfully pass the challenge, a check mark will appear next to “I’m not a robot”









Then click on the box “Submit Comment”


***Your comment will not immediately appear in the comment section until it has been approved.  Our webmaster does not approve comments that are obviously posted by strangers, people trying to promote a product or service including religious proselytizing, or comments of an aggressive or obscene nature.

Comments are accepted in any language as long as we can reliably translate them.

Comments using excessive TikTok,  Snapchat, or other social media slang will not be approved.

When in doubt about a comment, our webmaster may contact a member of the Barton Family Funeral Service staff for instructions. If the next-of-kin requests that a comment be removed, Barton Family Funeral Service will honor that request and will instruct the webmaster to remove the content.
