About Prices
Barton Funeral Services endeavors to keep our prices as low as possible. We do not quote an unrealistically low fee, hoping to add on services in order to bring the total fee up later (Bait and switch). Engaging in such predatory sales tactics is unconscionable and is even more despicable when a family is emotionally vulnerable. Our promise is to offer fair prices with absolutely no sales pressure.
As monetary inflation rages on, we necessarily adjust or fees as the dollar loses its value. Often a family sets aside funds in an insurance policy to cover death expenses and are disappointed to discover ten or twenty years later that inflation has eroded the value of their benefit. We recommend that you consider both inflation and expected longevity when writing such a policy.
The following links contain our current prices in a form mandated by the Federal Trade Commission (General Price List).
The first decision a family makes when a death occurs is the choice between cremation and burial.
