Oh Val..I am so sorry to hear this news. George was such a wonderful, positive man and I know he will be missed by everyone. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I was lucky to have worked wiyth George for almost 4 years. He was the definition of a kind spirit. Always had a smile, a comment and the time to show true interest for all of us around him. George was someone who made everyone feel special. Considered a friend by all of us who had the opportunity to meet him. He was a man of high ethics and integrity, treated everyone with respect and had quite an entourage following him at Aegis. He was passionate about serving seniors and they all considered him also a friend. George will be missed by all the generations at Aegis, from the young staff members to our seniors. Rest in peace our dear friend.
George was the most Godly man I have ever met, so selfless. Laura and I will miss him greatly. Our prayers go out to the family and the community.
George was such a nice man and he was truly loved by those at Aegis. My parents are residents and we traveled with George in the bus as he took us to the casino- he did not gamble of course, but never judged those of us who did, including my 90 year old mother and 93 year old father.
We absolultely will miss his smile. This fine fellow was pressed down , as my friend would say, and dapper any time of the day. Quite the gentleman and quite a gentle man.
Val, we are so sorry to hear about the loss of George. He was such a good man and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Peace.

Oh, Val! I am so sorry for your loss! His sweet sense of humor and his kind and tender ways will always be a sweet memory to me. We had most recently taken to running into each other at Taco Time! Peace to you, my sweet Sister. Let us know if we can be of any service to you during this time of loss for you.
Jill and family, while I did not know your father well, I do know Jill and the person she is surely reflects the father and man he was. Good, giving, caring, kind and honest. I am so very sorry for your loss – rejoice in your memories, he is forever in your hearts.
Val, I was so sorry to hear about your loss. You and your family are in my prayers.

Val,
We are so sad to hear about George. He was such a light in so many ways. He always greeted us with a smile and hug which will be deeply missed. Take care my friend.
Hi Val,
I am so sad about George’s passing. I knew him such a short time. Yet the support you and he gave me impacted me greatly. When I think of Eastlake CC I think of George because I seen his smiling face at coffee each Sunday morning.
May God Bless and keep you and your family always but especially during your time of lose.
Gail Murchison
Val, I am so sorry for your loss and yet so excited for your husband to be in heaven. I pray for God’s comfort to surround you here on earth. May the thought of George singing and dancing in heaven with Jesus bring you great comfort.
Val, I am so sorry for your sadness, but looking forward to seeing George again, and being greeted with that big, warm smile and hug! Much love…
Dear Val, Though we may have lost touch, we remember you and George dearly from our Bible Study in Spokane a few years back. Sorry to read in the Spokesman-Review of your loss.

Dear Val,
I am praying for you at this most difficult time. George is home with the Lord and is fee of pain and difficulties. The following verses have been very comforting to me after Karen went to heaven and hope they will comfort you also. Is 41:10, I Pet 1:3-4, and 2 Cor 4:16-17. Val, may the Lord be your comfort and guide. Love you, George
Dear Val,
I worked for George at Rollins Leasing Corp. in Spokane for 1 year as his rental agent. George was such a great person to learn under….professional, fair, honest, and fun. He sponsored my Hoopfest team for several years, even after I stopped working at Rollins, what a wonderful act of kindness! My family and I will be thinking of George in our prayers this evening. Thanks for sharing him with me!
We are so grateful to have George in our lives……. We will never forget him or his kindness and we will miss him for the rest of our lives. Thank you George for all you gave to our family and especially to Betty and Ray
Val, we were saddened to read of George’s passing in the Spokesman Review today. We so enjoyed attending the same Bible study group with you and remember George’s eagerness to dig into the Scriptures and learn. You will certainly be in our prayers in the days and weeks to come. Is there anyone in Spokane you would like us to call?
George touched the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. I had the pleasure of working at Aegis with him, he brought warms smiles, happiness, and laughter to all. He’ll be greatly missed.
My heart goes out to all his family, God bless you all!
I first met George at Evergreen Hospital several years ago. I was a volunteer who helped “wheel” patients around. George would chauffeur a woman to the hospital for her weekly cancer treatment. Then I was blessed to meet him again this year as he chauffeured patients to the doctor’s clinic where I worked. He was always smiling and always respectful to All. I am truly saddened by his passing. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
Val
We are praying for you and your extended family at this difficult time. We met you both while “greeting” at Eastlake back-in-the-day and got to know you both at various Empty Nesters’ small group meetings. What fun we had studying, learning, and sharing with each other. And let’s not forget George’s skill at grilling hamburgers at your condo! What a special guy. We’ll miss him dearly.
Though I only knew George for a short time, he made such an amazing impression. His grace, his quiet confidence, his warm smile, his compassion, his patience, his grounding effect on everyone at Aegis Lodge was a beautiful gift. We were all blessed to know him. Sending heartfelt condolences.
George was an amazing father to our children and a very special individual. Twenty years ago he had the good fortune to meet Valerie whom I feel was his soul mate. I feel so honored to have been a part of both their lives and my love is with them both. Thank you Val for loving George and being such a good friend to me.
Val, I am so sorry for your loss. Blessings to you and your Family, Love and Prayers, Minet
Val, I am so sorry to hear about George. I still remember the day he walked into my office at L&M Truck Sales and told me he was the new manager for Rollins and wanted to team up to supply both his customers and mine with rental trucks. He had the same work ethics and mine and wanted to take good care of his customers. I always felt comfortable sending my customers to him because he cared about them. George was a true gentleman. They are a rare breed. I am so glad the he found you. You made a perfect pair. My prayers are with you.
Jeff, knowing how much you loved your Dad, I know you are struggling with your emotions. I met your Dad only a few times, including the white water rafting trip 20 years ago, and instantly I liked him. Wish I had known him better. Karen and I share in your sadness, and the sadness of Valerie, Jana, Jill and your entire family. We send our love and sympathy to everyone, with our love.
Ron and Karen

Dear Val ; Nena and I were so sorry to see that George has died. George was and is a great guy and we know he will be sorely missed by the whole family. We always enjoyed Georges humor and loving manner. Heaven is enriched and we know George is in the Lords loving arms now. Nena called Luke at the dollar store and he sends his love too. I was deeply saddened to hear of George’s passing. George hired me to work for him 15 years ago for Rollins Leasing in Spokane. I was so thankful he saw something in me to give me the job. I am still in that position, though it’s Penske Truck Leasing now. I think of him often. George was such a gentle man, always there to listen and never judge. I will miss his great smile.
Val, I’m so sorry to hear about George. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Val, we are very sorry to hear about George. We were fortunate to have you as neighbors and to know George. His mastery with the grill was unique and we will never forget the summer bbq he hosted for us. He always wore a smile on his face and was one of the kindest person i knew. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Val and Family, Thank you and George for being such wonderful, graceous people to so many. I love George, he always greeted me like a long lost friend with such a warm and caring spirit. I know he will be greatly missed by all the lives he’s touched. I am so very sorry for your loss and pray that you are surrounded by the love of your friends, family and church.
Love, Dan West
Val, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be at George’s celebration. He deserves to be celebrated! What a gracious, friendly guy, a good listener with a great smile. He always had time for anyone, as I often observed at Eastlake CC when he was working the tea table or greeting people at the doors. Jesus was displayed in his gentle, loving spirit. I remember so well when you both took us out for lunch when we were new to ECC and how you both listened so well to our stories. I have been praying for you and will continue as I know that even in the midst of knowing He is with Jesus in absolute joy, there is indescribable heartbreak, too. He loved you so much! I love you, too.
Val, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to attend George’s celebration. He was a man who deserved a huge celebration. His kind, friendly, gentle spirit made everyone around him feel cared for and showed that he was God’s man. I remember when you and George took Tom and me out for lunch when we were Eastlake CC newbies. So kind and such good listeners. I have been praying for you and will continue as I know that even though George enjoying Jesus’ presence is a happy thought, there is heartbreak here on earth. Jesus is the Comforter, He holds you in His arms, under His wings and will give you strength. Love you, Val.
I grieve with you at the loss of your father, Jill. I know how much you loved, respected and adored him!!!! Tyler & Sam, I know you will greatly miss your grandpa! Wes, I’m sorry for your loss!!! Be encouraged – heaven gets closer every day!!! I miss you all more than you know. Ken
I still think of George often. I have never met such a wonderful, caring person.
