My thoughts and prayers for Barbara, Pam and her family. Earl was a great neighbor and always willing to help. I had a 1969 Camaro Convertible with a 396 engine and a manual transmission. During snow storms, I remember Earl and Laverne Moen walking down 23rd street to Richards Road (two lanes then) and bringing it up the hill and into my driveway. I told Earl on one occasion that he could drive it as it made no difference. He looked at me and said, “I’m not driving that thing – Laverne will drive – he knows cars”. He had a beautiful smile!
