Michael William Painter
Michael William Painter born November 6,1967 in Millington, TN, died January 24,2026 in Kirkland, WA after a brief battle with head and neck cancer.

While in high school, Mike enjoyed boxing with his brother Shawn as well as wrestling and football. He was an avid Anacortes and Seattle Seahawks (12), Mariners and Huskies fan. His hobbies included fishing, crabbing, camping, clam digging, panning for gold and searching for Big Foot. At home, Mike made a must have apple pie moonshine as well as bacon, brats, sausage, clam chowder, marinara sauce from his home grown tomatoes, and chicken pot pie. Ask any kid that knew Mike and they will probably tell you how he taught them how to fish.
Mike’s eyes were the first thing besides his beard that people noticed. He always brought a smile, laughter and prank wherever he went. He was welcoming and kind to everyone he met. He was humble and kind and will be deeply missed by Lynn, his family and friends.
Mike’s ashes will be laid to rest with his brother Shawn and parents Brent and Judy Painter who preceded him in death at Fern Hill Cemetery, Anacortes, WA.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Follow Mike’s Healthcare Journey on Facebook. While there, add a picture and/or story.
