Rebecca Sue Jacobs

Rebecca Jacobs, age 75, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, in Washington. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Rebecca touched the lives of many with her warmth, compassion, and unwavering strength.

Rebecca is lovingly remembered by her son Patrick and his wife Sophia; her daughter Amy and her husband Jeff; and her daughter Kris and her husband Glenn. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jimmy, Joseph, Tessa, and Ruby. Rebecca also leaves behind her beloved sister Melinda, who shared in her joys, her stories, and her strength throughout the years.

Her legacy is one of love, kindness, and dedication to family. She had a deep respect for those who served our country, and in her memory, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to veterans’ organizations.

A celebration of Rebecca’s life will be held this August in Ontario, California. Family and friends will gather to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate the life of a woman who meant so much to so many.  Details will be announced at a later date.

Rebecca’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

The unexpected loss of my mom has been a shock to me and everyone who knew her. I’m very grateful for the steadfast support I’ve received from my family and friends, and the unconditional love, especially Amy and Kirs’, that they have for me and my mom will forever live in my spirit.

Becky, as I knew her, was the sister of my sister-in-law, Melinda. I first met Becky as family. Then she did my taxes. Then I was lucky enough to do a cruise with her, Melinda, my brother, Patrick, and our mom, Mary. We had a great time. As you all know, Becky was a lovely lady and I know will be missed. I know Melinda will miss her greatly. My love to all who have lost someone very special. Lorena

My buddy while testing the 365 Challenge quilt blocks for Kathryn Kerr. Also we shared the same birthday. I only knew Becky through quilting but she loved her quilt cruises. May she sew in comfort now. x

I always thought it was funny that the inside joke was that Becky was a witch. She had several objets hanging in her office that referenced this including one I made for her. The truth was she had to have been one of the nicest and kindest people I knew not to mention very, very brave. She taught me how to drive by making me drive to Walmart in Rancho Cucamonga from Chino via the California Freeway System. I was scared to death the entire time but she was cool as ice. Most parents wouldnt even let their own kid do what she did and thats just one of the many things she did for me and for all of Kris’s friends. She was a special lady and I know how much she will be missed.
